What is Pinophile? +
Pinophile is a visual pinboard app: a place to save and organize images you want to keep — style references, mood boards, screenshots, anything worth remembering. You create boards, pin images to them, and revisit or search your saved pins whenever you need to.
Is Pinophile free to use? +
Yes — creating an account and using the app is free.
Do I need a Google account to sign up? +
No. You can sign up with just an email and password. Continuing with Google is optional and just a faster way to sign in.
What does Pinophile do with my Google account data? +
If you sign in with Google, we only use it to verify it's you and to set up your profile (your name and photo) — nothing else is accessed or shared.
Is my email address visible to other users? +
No. Only your username and avatar are shown publicly on your profile, pins, and comments — your email address is never displayed to other users.
Can I make a board private? +
Yes. You can mark a board private when you create it, or toggle its privacy afterward from the board page. Private boards are only visible to you.
How do I delete a pin or a board? +
Open the pin or board and use the delete option there — only the owner can delete it, and it's immediate.
How do I delete my account? +
Go to Edit profile, type your username to confirm, and request account deletion. We'll email you a confirmation link — nothing is deleted until you click it, so it can't happen by accident.
What happens to my data if I delete my account? +
Everything tied to your account is permanently deleted: your pins, boards, comments, likes, follows, and uploaded images. This can't be undone.
