What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address, username, and a password hash (we never see or store your password itself — that's handled by our authentication provider, Supabase). If you sign in with Google instead, we receive your email, name, and profile photo from Google rather than asking you to set a password.

Anything you choose to add — pins, boards, comments, likes, follows, uploaded images, your selected interests — is stored so the app can show it back to you and to other users, since this is a public pinboard by design.

Cookies

We use a single set of session cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who else sees your data

Pins, boards, profiles, comments, and likes are public by default (that's the point of a pinboard) unless you mark a board private. We use Supabase to host our database, file storage, and authentication — your data lives on their infrastructure, governed by their own security practices. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, change your interests, or make a board private at any time. You can delete individual pins, boards, or comments you've created whenever you like.

You can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it — pins, boards, comments, likes, follows, and uploaded images — from your account settings. This can't be undone.

Questions

This is a small project, not a company with a dedicated privacy team — if you have questions about your data, reach out through however you got access to this app in the first place.
