Using Pinophile

By creating an account or using Pinophile, you agree to these terms. Pinophile is an independent, personally-run project (see About) provided as-is — there's no dedicated legal team behind this, so treat this page as a plain-language agreement rather than a formal legal document.

Your account

You're responsible for whatever happens under your account, including keeping your password secure. You must be old enough to legally agree to these terms in your country to sign up.

Content you post

You keep ownership of anything you pin, upload, or write here — Pinophile doesn't claim it. By posting, you give Pinophile permission to host, display, and distribute that content as part of running the app (showing it in feeds, on your profile, in search, and so on).

Only upload content you have the right to share. Don't post anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's copyright, or anything intended to harass, threaten, or harm another person. Pins can be reported, and pins or accounts that violate this may be removed without notice.

Acceptable use

Don't use Pinophile to spam, scrape the site at scale, attempt to break its security, or impersonate someone else. Automated access beyond normal browsing (bots, scrapers) isn't permitted without permission.

Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings — see the privacy policy for what happens to your data when you do. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or removed.

No warranty

Pinophile is provided "as is," without guarantees of uptime, that it will be error-free, or that content you save will never be lost. Back up anything irreplaceable elsewhere too.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continuing to use Pinophile after a change means you accept the updated terms.
